Removing the base cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
- Remove the SD memory card
Steps
- Loosen the nine captive screws that secure the base cover
to the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
- Pry the base
cover and continue to open the right side of the base cover.
- Lift the right side of the base cover [1], and remove it off the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
