Removing the Camera

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. display bezel

    4. display panel

  3. Perform the following steps to remove the camera from the computer:
    1. Lift the camera to release it from the adhesive [1].
    2. Disconnect the camera cable from its connector [2].
    3. Remove the camera from the computer [3].Figure displaying how to remove the camera from the display assembly.
