Overview

The DSS 9600 server contains a full-width chassis supporting the Intel ^®Xeon ^® Scalable platform. Each server supports up to two Intel ^®Xeon ^® Scalable processors.

10	Cable management arm	Optimizes data and power cabling usage.
11	SAS expander board	Controller card which allows the expansion of storage capacity. External connections are supported through a SAS cable.
12	Hot swap HDD bay	Supports twelve 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch HDDs.
13	Expansion port, slot 5	Supports x16 PCIe expansion risers, directly connected to CPU 2.
14	HDD backplane	Supports four HDD modules, each server contains three HDD backplanes.
15	FW server chassis	Full width server chassis for DSS 9600 server.
16	Expansion port, slot 4	Supports x16 PCIe expansion risers, connected to CPU 1.
17	Expansion port, slot 3	Supports x8 OCP expansion cards, connected to CPU 1.
