While performing a file-level restore (FLR) of a Linux virtual machine (VM), the save set cannot be mounted to the target VM properly because the /var/run/vflragentd.sock file does not exist. The /var/run/vflragentd.sock file has not been created because the vflragentd is not running on the target Linux VM.

The vProxy registration process fails, reporting a timeout when communicating with the vCenter over port 443. The NMC Alerts section shows the vProxy is unavailable.
