Users can replace disks on the ECS appliances starting with version 3.5. A new UI tab for this functionality has been implemented (ECS UI > Manage > Maintenance). Replacing a disk by a user using the ECS UI is only supported for Gen3 Hardware (all EX-Series), Gen2 Hardware (only U-Series). For all other hardware than those listed, a support request is required to replace disks.
