Dell iDRAC Service Module (dcism) versions earlier than 6.1 contain a defect: when the OS-to-iDRAC pass-through is lost, iSM enters Limited Functionality Mode and retries the connection in an unbounded loop. Every retry runs firewall-cmd --reload twice. The result is thousands of full firewalld reloads per day on the affected node, causing MDM disconnects, SDS decouples, and SCLI login failures.
