Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover away from the system.
Intrusion Switch
Identify the intrusion switch highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the intrusion switch cable from the system board.
Unroute the intrusion switch cable from the retention clip on the chassis.
Remove the Intrusion switch away from the chassis.
Install
Intrusion Switch
Identify the intrusion switch location highlighted in blue.
Place the intrusion switch into the slot on the chassis.
Route the intrusion switch cable through the retention clip on the chassis.
Connect the intrusion switch cable to the connector on the system board.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the side cover with the slots and place the side cover on the system.
Tighten the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
