Removal
Left Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover from the chassis.
Front Cover
Identify the front cover highlighted in blue.
Pry and release the tabs that secure the front cover to the chassis.
Rotate the front cover outward and lift it from the chassis.
Drive Bay
Identify the drive bay highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
Lift the drive bay assembly at an angle to release the tabs from the chassis.
Slide and remove the drive bay assembly from the chassis.
Position the drive bay to remove the hard drive.
Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the drive bay.
Flip over the drive bay.
Slide the hard drive out of the hard drive slot on the drive bay.
After all the parts are removed, the drive bay remains.
Install
Drive Bay
Identify the drive bay location highlighted in blue.
Position the drive bay for installing the hard drive.
Slide the hard drive into the hard drive slot of the drive bay.
Flip over the drive bay.
Install the screws that secure the hard drive to the drive bay.
Slide and secure one side of the drive bay assembly to the chassis.
Press down the other end of the drive bay assembly, securing the tabs into the slots on the chassis.
Connect the data and power cables to the hard drive.
Front Cover
Identify the front cover location highlighted in blue.
Align and insert the front cover tabs into the slots on the right side of the chassis.
Rotate the front cover toward the chassis and press it into place.
Left Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align and slide the left side cover onto the chassis.
Tighten the screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
