Removal
Base Cover
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover.
Pry the base cover near the hinges to release it from the system.
Remove the base cover by loosening the sides and front.
Memory Modules
Identify the memory modules highlighted in blue.
Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end until the memory modules pops up.
Hold the edges and carefully lift the memory modules up from connector on the system board.
Install
Memory Modules
Identify the memory modules location highlighted in blue.
Align the notch on the memory modules with the tab on the slot and slide the memory into the slot at an angle.
Press the memory modules down until it clicks into place.
Base Cover
Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the base cover tabs to the slots, press the cover until it clicks into place.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the base cover to the system.
