Removal
Expansion card riser 1
Identify the riser highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the expansion card riser 1.
Holding the handle, lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
Expansion Card 1
Position the riser assembly as shown.
Identify the expansion card highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the expansion card to the riser.
Holding the expansion card by its edges, remove it from the riser slots.
Riser card 1
Identify the riser card highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the riser card to the expansion card riser.
Remove the riser card from the expansion card riser.
Install
Riser card 1
Identify the riser card location highlighted in blue.
Align and insert the riser card with the screw holes on the riser.
Using a phillips #2 screwdriver, install the screws that secure the riser card to the expansion card riser.
Expansion Card 1
Identify the expansion card location highlighted in blue.
Insert the card firmly until it is fully seated in the slot.
Using a phillips #2 screwdriver, install the screw that secures the expansion card to the riser.
Position the riser assembly as shown.
Expansion card riser 1
Identify the riser location highlighted in blue.
Lower the riser firmly until the riser card is fully seated in the slot.
Using a phillips #1 screwdriver, install the screws that secure the expansion card riser 1 on to the system board.
