Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or a phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
Lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
Lift the system cover from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue.
Hold the edges of the air shroud, and lift the air shroud out of the system.
Riser - 2b
Identify the riser highlighted in blue.
Unlock the riser latch, lift the riser to disconnect it from the connector, and remove it from the guide pin and cage.
DC SCM Board
Identify the DC SCM board highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the left control panel cable from the system board.
Open the blue latch to disengage the DC SCM board.
Push the DC SCM board toward the rear to disconnect it, then slide it out of the system board.
Attic Board
Position the DC SCM Board as shown.
Identify the attic board highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the attic board to the DC SCM board.
Tilt and lift the attic board from the DC SCM guide pins.
Install
Attic Board
Identify the attic board location highlighted in blue.
Align the attic board at an angle with the guide pins on the DC SCM board, then press it down to secure it in place.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the attic board to the DC SCM board.
DC SCM Board
Identify the DC SCM board location highlighted in blue.
Slide the DC SCM board into the slot, then push it until it connects to the system board.
Close the blue latch to lock the DC SCM board to the system.
Connect the left control panel cable to the system board.
Riser - 2b
Identify the riser location highlighted in blue.
Align the riser with the connector and guide pin, lower it, press to seat it fully, then lock it with the riser latch.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Holding the edges of the air shroud, align the tabs on the air shroud with the standoff on the chassis.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it is firmly seated.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system, then slide the cover into place.
Close the system cover release latch.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise to the lock position.
