This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Hard drive 3.5 and a Optiplex SFFPlus 7010. The procedure will also include removing the Side Cover, Hard drive assembly 3.5, 3.5 Hard Drive and reinstalling them.
Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Slide the release latch until your hear a click.
Slide the side cover towards the back of the computer and lift it from the system.
Hard drive assembly 3.5
3.5 Hard Drive
Position the drive carrier on the flat surface as shown.
Identify the hard drive highlighted in blue.
Pry the hard drive carrier to release the mounting points on the carrier from the slots on the hard drive.
Lift the hard drive off the hard drive carrier.
Install
3.5 Hard Drive
Position the drive carrier on the flat surface as shown.
Identify the hard drive location highlighted in blue.
Align the mounting points on the carrier with the slots on the hard drive.
Use a tool to lift the hard drive carrier and line up its mounting points with the slots on the hard drive.
Slide the hard drive into the hard-drive carrier

Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover towards the front of the computer until you hear the release latch click.
