Procedure

  • NOTE: The following procedure is applicable only if your computer is shipped with a hard drive.
  1. Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the system board.
  3. Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the I/O board.
  4. Lift the hard-drive assembly off the palmrest and keyboard assembly.

  5. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
