Removing Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) Card (Optional)

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. base cover
  3. Please perform the following steps to remove the WWAN card:
    1. Disconnect and un-route and remove the antenna cables connected to the WWAN card.
    2. Remove the screw that secures the WWAN card to the computer.
    3. Remove the WWAN card from the computer.
    NOTE The location of the WWAN card may vary from what is displayed in the illustrations.
