you mean you want one monitor to receive two different video signal via two HDMI-in port so your monitor can display two 1/2 display each showing different video signal? I doubt you can do that. whatever video signal is received by the monitor through either port will be entirely displayed across the screen. The only way to create split screen video is to make your composite video source based on two separate videos, i.e., you need to do your own video editing and then send the composite as one video to the monitor.
To achieve this goal, the user would need a monitor that has the PBP (Picture by Picture) option in the monitor Menu. The AW2518HF does not have that option. DELL-Chris M
