AW3821DW, flickering issue, #3

My Alienware AW3821DW flickers at every possible testing combination I have in hand.

So far I tested on:

- Windows desktop with 2070S, Dell Latitude laptop, M1 and Non-M1 MacBook Pros.

- All refresh rates through any connections (DP, HDMI1, HDM2) to motherboard, GPU, and thunderbolt ports with different cables.

- Different Response Time and Variable Backlight from OCD

- G-Sync and HDR on and off.

- All latest OS, GPU, and monitor drivers.

It must be a problem with the monitor itself and I cannot fix it.

It's a replacement unit already and it says out of warranty when I went to Dell Support so please help!

have you try to
1. right-click on desktop
2. display settings
3. Advanced display settings and select the highest refresh rate option.

Hi Larcade thanks for the reply. Yes I tried all refresh rates with different cables and computers but the issue is still there.

Best way to fix any warranty issues is to contact a support agent, as they are best suited to assist with any warranty claims.
