AW768 keyboard, Color settings not saving
I have a Pro gaming keyboard and the Elite mouse. Every time I change my color scheme or macros on the keyboard in the control center it eventually resets and goes dark. I have to reset it multiple times a day. I am suspecting there is some sort of conflict between control center and command center. Has anybody come across this and/or knows how to fix this. Occurring on weeks old Aurora R7 all firmwares have been updated.

After a million different things I tried, I finally found how to fix that:
on the taskbar right click on the icon "Alienware AlienFX: Alienware.ath" click on "Keep Status Zones On During Go Dark" so it has the tick next to it...
That's it!
I find it amazing that no matter how much I searched, noone, from Alienware or not could mentioned this feature as a possible solution.
I think it would be easier if Alienware used just one program for all their hardware and not so many different ones

My keyboard is resetting it's color scheme once I log into Windows 10. I can boot up the PC and the colors on the keyboard will be my color scheme, until I type my password in and the login process begins and then BAM, color reset.
I checked the 'Keep Status Zones On Going Dark' setting like an above post recommended, and mine was already ticked, so it's not a solution to my issue.
Also, the exact same issue happens to my wife's computer. Different Allienware Models, same keyboard, same version of Windows 10, and they both started doing it around the same time... so I'm suspecting some sort of Windows Tomfoolery.

I had this same problem as of the most recent Alienware Control Center update.
I was able to fix the lighting to my desired values (Rainbow Wave for keyboard, and Spectrum for mouse) by following these steps (even though I'm still having to reset my macros each reset):
1) Went to here to check if I had latest drivers (I already had all latest except bios and one other unrelated thing).
https://kb.dell.com/infocenter/index?page=content&id=SLN306826
2) As part of reviewing latest drivers there, I installed SupportAssist.
3) After installing the unrelated thing and downloading the bios update, but before updating the bios, I noticed that a program called Alienware Command Center (different than Alienware Control Center) had opened automatically, and I saw that it had an "Active Default Theme", which is the colors/etc I've been frustratingly reset to every computer restart.
4) So I used that Alienware Command Center interface to change the "Active Default Theme" lighting on both my keyboard and mouse to what I desired, as well as my mouse settings (the UI for setting these things is different and not as intuitive as in Alienware Control Center, but I managed).
5) As a side note, I also tried to set the macros on my mouse using Alienware Command Center, but the list of macros was empty there, and even after recreating my macro in that interface, assigning it to a mouse button was NOT POSSIBLE! **bleep**... I tried dragging from macro list to mouse button image, clicking the mouse button image, clicking the macro, editing the macro, etc, and none of it assigned the macro to the button.
6) I installed the bios update, and found that thankfully my keyboard/mouse desired lighting stayed at my desired values after the bios update restarts had finished. I still have to use Alienware Control Center to set my mouse macros on every computer restart though.
EDIT FOR MACROS:
I found that if I
1) set my macros in Alienware Control Center (close that window), then
2) open Alienware Command Center and go to the macros screen for my mouse and just click to save the profile (without making any edits) (close that window), then
3) set my macros again in Alienware Control Center (close that window), then
4) restart my computer,
my mouse macros are correctly applied on computer restart!
However, if I ever open Alienware Command Center, that resets the macros, and I have to reapply them in Alienware Control Center again for them to work again. Also, it seems that within a few minutes after logging in from the Windows login screen (if I haven't started a game in that timeframe), the keyboard lights flicker off and on again once, which clears the macros so the macros still need to be reset again.
Phew, that is a lot of work for what should be easy...

Hey I'm having a problem with this stupid keyboard and mouse. Whenever I get into a game of lea gue (this word is not permitted in this community for some reason...**bleep**) of legends the colour just shuts off and I have to manually select a theme to restart the colour.
Once the game ends it does the same thing. Actually so annoying.

I had a similar problem with color schemes not saving properly. Fixed by applying settings to all 12 zones. It's been fine ever since. Each zone still has it's individual settings but all zones are enabled in the profile.

I have this very same issue as this poster here, my keyboard settings or saved on load properly, yet the mouse will not do the same. Once i open the app the color them is loaded for the mouse automatically for me though. Super annoying, I almost wish the app could bet set to run at start-up as that would probably be my fix.
