Aurora R11, AWCC and SupportAssist, never ending issues

I am so unhappy with my Aurora R11 and the horrible software AWCC and  SupportAssist that needs to be removed and reinstalled every month as it just stops working.

Anything I can do to fix this?

Well, you could start by completely uninstalling Support-Assist and Dell/Alienware-Update. Be sure all the associated Processes and Services are also uninstalled/removed.

It's simply not required for the Aurora-R11 to run Windows and programs.

For fan control there is no alternative. Neither for RGB control.

You are more or less locked into the AWCC software with these machines.

I too have had issues with AWCC. After I updated the BIOS to 1.0.0.19 it would be stuck on a white screen and not load. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Then I tried older versions. Nothing worked. When I uninstalled it I  found it strange that the custom RGB settings of my keyboard, mouse and monitor didn't change back to factory default. I think I finally figured out a solution. I uninstalled it. Rebooted. Installed the full version 5.5.43.0, A00 then instead of rebooting I performed a Power Drain on the system. How to do a Power Drain on your Alienware PC

When I started the system all of my RGB peripherals went back to factory default and I was able to load AWCC and reconfigure everything. The OC wouldn't work initially so I disabled Core Isolation Memory Integration in Windows 11 Enable or Disable Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 11 . Now everything works OC included!

You do not need Support Assistant or once you have set up everything, AWCC.

You also do not need to use any Dell driver.

Ditch anything and everything provided by Dell and use the proper manufacturer provided drivers, then enjoy a stutter free PC.
