all you need is a second 8 pin EPS connector of non-Dell psu to plug into Dell proprietary GPU_PWR socket. Dell psu uses an 8 pin connector that has only 6 (or sometimes 4) pin wired. don't try to understand Dell's idiosyncratic way. what is recommended is plug non-Dell psu's 2nd EPS connector in that socket.

The EVGA in your link satisfies this requirement. it has two 8 pin EPS.
