Alienware Aurora R7 2019 - Replacement PSU - Strange six pin connector

Question

I have a 2019 Dell Alienware Aurora R7 2019 Model (Intel Core i7 8700). My power supply appears to have completely failed, no light on the power button at all or on the back of the power supply when connected to power. I have seen some forum posts about people replacing their PSU. However, these appear to have an 8pin connector with a requirement for 4-pins in use for the motherboard connection (labelled GPU_PWR) on the motherboard. My motherboard appears to have a 8-pin connection with 6 in use (please see pics). Can someone recommend a replacement PSU that has this connection? I have heard that the following is a good replacement but i do not know if this has this connection as i cannot tell from the website https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-G5-0850-X1 Thank you.

all you need is a second 8 pin EPS connector of non-Dell psu to plug into Dell proprietary GPU_PWR socket. Dell psu uses an 8 pin connector that has only 6 (or sometimes 4) pin wired. don't try to understand Dell's idiosyncratic way. what is recommended is plug non-Dell psu's 2nd EPS connector in that socket.

The EVGA in your link satisfies this requirement. it has two 8 pin EPS.
