Alienware R5 USB ports

Question

I hard reset the computer because it was frozen from using a VR headset that was operating terribly and now that’s it’s back on, no USB ports are working. The keyboard flashes as it’s booting, then no lights once I get to the home screen. No mouse, no nothing. And it teases me as the time updates on the homescreen.

Sounds like it needs a time-out. Try leaving it shut-down and unplugged from the wall AC-power for a while.
