Since they added This to models like the 7010 via A22 I would check what the latest bios is and UPDATE using Clean Windows 7 or 8 or MSDOS.
I'm not saying it doesnt work I'm saying I dont know because this system is over 8 years old now and End of Life. I will neither confirm nor deny it works. YMMV
You WILL NEED an adapter for the 12 pin AUX PCI-E connector.
A new 12-pin aux PCIe power CONNECTOR IS used with the Nvidia Ampere generation graphics cards.
The new connector takes a 2x8-pin power and shrinks it down into a single 12-pin connector. AKA 375w VIDEO CARDS.
8 PIN IS not 8 PIN GET IT WRONG AND fry EVERYTHING

Not sure the R2 has UEFI class 2.3.1 bios so it may not work.

@DELL-Chris M might know.
I'm not dell engineering and this model is well past EOL EOS.
Alienware_Area_51_R2_A14.exe is the one that looks like it might work.

I have the exact same qs. I have the same setup except I have an 850 watt power supply. Do I have to upgrade the motherboard, ram, cpu, etc?
