My system: Area-51 R5 I just updated both the AWCC (Version: 5.2.24.0 ,A00) and OC software (Version: 1.2.24.129 ,A00) dated 29 Jan 2019 today (twice) and all it does is show the spinning circle animation on both the Overclock and Thermal buttons forever spinning. When I go to the Fusion menu the Overclock section just shows the spinning animation. I’ve verified the OC section in the BIOS (v1.1.17 the latest version dated 7 Sep 2018) and several shutdowns and reboots. Essentially I can’t set any OC via AWCC. I can, however, set FX colors and such. Got any ideas?
Good news - I uninstalled all Alienware tools and re-installed. I now have the OC controls back - no more spinning animations, BUT, I no longer have my AW768 Alienware Gaming Pro keyboard in AWCC - it’s gone. I’ve re-installed its driver and firmware - nada. Now, there seems to be a separate tool just for the AW768, which is no longer integrated and I don’t like it. So, its good news, bad news.
I was finally able to resolve all the problems I was having. This image shows all 5 programs to install and in that order too. I took this screenshot from the Microsoft Store. Uninstall everything and start from scratch. Please let us know how it goes.
Note: If you have any keyboard macros take note of them before you start.

Be sure it's actually an Area51-R2 (the first triad-looking model).
The last Dell validated version of AW-CC for Area51-R2 is v4.8.25.0 . Uninstall old and reboot before installing this one.
Yeah, IIRC ... the OC functionality is via AWCC-addin/plugin . If might require additional work.
I suggest you just get the normal parts of AWCC working first.

I also no longer can view my fans speeds. I would like all of the same abilities I had previously.

More work on their end or mine? So I should delete there new version of AWCC and just put the old one back in?
