Area-51 R5, AW3420DW, 120Hz on screen display disable?
Area-51 R5, 2080 Ti all drivers up to date. So I have the monitor running at 120Hz "Extreme.". Everything is fine except hard to see what is under the boxed 120Hz in the top left corner.
I tried one solution of monitor reset to Factory default. Put the settings back in and the 120Hz is back in the corner.
It there a way to remove the on screen displayed 120Hz on the monitor showing this?

I would like to publicly state that reading the manual often times works. That is the case with this.
Game Enhance Mode Frame rate turns the 120Hz on.

There's also a feature in the nvidia control panel that can toggle on/off an g-sync indicator overlay on the screen. It's under the Display tab up top.

Try a different dp cable.
