Area-51 R5, fan issue

Does anyone have the same issue.

It shows six fans in the fan monitor software, and only 5 in the system test

There is a fan running at 5000+ rpm. Attached pic snapped from HWiNFO64.

I know the two 2000+ fans is the U.2 Fan for the 2.5 inch hard driver. I tried to disconnect them, the fan noise is still there.

the two 700+ fans is the top fan an PCI fan. the 1300+ fan is the CPU cooling fan.

Do you know how to replace the PCI, top and CPU fan? I have ordered two HF-12F quite fun.

Hi @rhneqq

You need to open the system and check where the noise is coming from.

What video card does the system have?

1080 ti, 850W power supply, 7800x,

I just replace the fan with NF-F12.

the noise is still there, may be the liquid cooling pump fan or the power supply fan noise.

Run the app and send us the screenshot once you have the system with you. Thanks!

@rhneqq currently been having exactly same issues as you. Fan speed shows 5000+ RPM, did you find any fix?
