Aurora R10, 3 lights after changing GPU and CPU
I have an Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10, GPU RTX 2060, CPU 5 3500 6 core. I just recently upgraded to GPU ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge and CPU 7 5800x 8 core. After doing so, the yellow 1 - 2 flashing lights on the logo started to happen. I looked it up and took out the CMOS to reset the bios after 5 - 10 minutes and nothing. Perhaps the CMOS is dead? I will change it but what if it's not the CMOS? What then? I'm new to this I did my research. But I think I messed up.

Ryzen Edition supported CPU's: Ryzen supported CPU's
Important note: There are 3 versions of the Ryzen Edition: The R10, the R10 and the R14.
There are 2 different versions both called R10. Very important to know is that the Ryzen 3000 series R10 does not support Ryzen 5000 CPU's. For Ryzen 5000 CPU's you need to upgrade to the newer R10. It's not known what the Ryzen R14 support is for Ryzen 3000 CPU's.

I'm not sure that CPU is supported by your motherboard. Unfortunately, we lost the FAQ section due to the deteriorating functionality of this platform . . . so unable to confirm.

This is what the lights mean: Diagnostic lights.
If you installed the 5800X properly and it is not a 5800X3D, than I would put the original video card back in, perform a CMOS reset and try again.
Never mind, just realized you originally had a 3500 installed. Ryzen 5000 series will not work in that board. See my other post about the 2 different Ryzen 10 versions. You have the Ryzen 3000 R10, so a Ryzen 5000 CPU will not work.

Can you see the FAQ section at the top of the forum page? . . . or did you have that link saved elsewhere?

Thanks! . . . good to know. FAQ section is clearly not as important to a user community as the ginormous banner ad that replaced it.

That is a good point. I thought the size of the banner was rather big...
