It will probably be down clocked by Dell bios and run at speed slower than 3000, because Dell bios may not like to apply 1.35V to ram it does not know well. default Dell ram voltage is 1.2V. Anything 1.35v is basically a factory overclocked stick. 1.2v is the standard operating voltage.

Check your manual here for the exact ram specs. You need to match the ram you have now for best performance. See if Dell has what you need.
