Aurora R10, AMD RX 5700 XT, refresh rate problems
Got the Aurora R10 (Ryzen 7 3800x with the RX 5700 XT) and my displays are the AW2720HF and AW2721D.
Both should be able to be set to 240Hz, but in the windows display adapter settings I can only select 60Hz for both. Both are connected with a DP1.4 cable. Anyone know what's causing this?

AMD free-sync has specific requirements
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-013#
Monitor Config
Please ensure that the AMD FreeSync capable monitor has been properly configured. Using the On Screen Display (OSD) controls on the monitor, verify that:
Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.1 introduced a new feature that allows AMD FreeSync™ to be adjusted on a per application profile basis. not all games support 240hz
G-SYNC is NVIDIA you do not have NVIDIA gpu.
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/
Graphics Cards Supported: G-SYNC HDR features require an NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050 GPU or higher.
Driver: R396 GA2 or higher
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/168776/en-us
Operating Systems:
System Requirement: Must have NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR GPU and DisplayPort 1.4 directly driven from the GPU.

Hi @Vylan86
If this is a GSYNC/Freesync problem, I wonder
I have the other way round, NVIDIA GPU on Freesync monitor S3220DGF.
You should first see if you can get 240Hz in windows, in NVIDA Panel I created a custom resolution/frequency combo to get the 164Hz to show, maybe you should try see in Radeon software if this is possible.
Once you can get that, you may need to switch on the old Vertical Sync and see if you can FreeSync your monitors from the GPU.
It is a shame that Monitor manufacturers dont systematically integrate Freesync and GSYNC (this is not specific to Dell, I have older monitors that GSYNC), the gaming world would be a far simpler life

I've currently managed to fix it by connecting the 1440p monitor via DP1.4 and the 1080p via HDMI. This is not ideal ofcourse since HDMI gives unsharp text in windows, but at least now I can select the resolution and refreshrate for both monitors.
Found another problem with my RX5700XT, it seems the busspeed is set to x8 instead of x16 and can't change this, not even via the BIOS

"it seems the busspeed is set to x8 instead of x16 and can't change this, not even via the BIOS"
This is correct. It is only x8 electrical per the service manual.
