Aurora R10, AWCC showing 777 for cpu and memory, #4

Tried updating BIOS after removing Mcafee and any other antivirus, as said in the solution in the other threads here and here.

Still the problem is there. Very very disappointed by Dell. My rig is less than 1 year old (Aurora R10 Ryzen Ed.)

The BIOS update i think was successful... and yes, before that i removed any antivirus (also used the tool from McAfee).

What do you mean with "Try clearing CMOS by removing the CR2032 battery and discharging flea power."? Can you be more specific? I cannot understand what else I have to do.

II confirm that the BIOS has been updated to the latest version (1.0.8).

I also ran a System Check and Memory Check from support assist diagnostic and everything passed.

As suggested by Dell Support i followed this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGoNrBoumXI

to unistall completely Alienware CC. I reinstalled it and at the beginning my Alienware Command Center was stuck at loading (with the circle going on) Thermal Controls and Overclocking. On "fusion" it shows only a circle loading ... and it does not show anything else.

After reinstalling Alienware OC Controls... Alienware Command Center shows AGAIN 777 everywhere. That is ridiculous!.

I really think that "Alienware Command Center" app is a mess and should be updated or replaced with something else.

For those who want to complain, in awcc, go to setting, the 4th option is feedback (click here to provide feedback)

Don't be shy!

I'll try this in the next few days... but I really doubt that this could be the problem with AWCC.

I've tried this and it did not work.

The support sent me this message on private here in the forum:

"Hi there!!

We are terribly sorry for the delay in our reply.

In this case, we will need to perform a full restore of the operating system, by performing a factory recovery on the unit.

Keeping in mind that this will wipe the system, so you might need to backup your data."

I've answered:

"You're doing THIS because you "Alienware Command Center" app is not working properly? The PC is FINE, the app is badly programmed! I have no time to recover the pc or to wipe the system, that was the reason why i boght a 2000€ PC! To avoid this problems!"

This is really ridicoulous. They want to perform a factory recovery on my PC because the app is not working... but the PC is working ad intended (I'm working and gaming fine even with "777" on AWCC).
Next time I'lll surely NOT buy again from Dell.

No, I tried everything they said on the other post. I've contatced the support in my language (italian) and I'm waiting that they take remote control of the pc and try something out. I'll update this post after that.

After 3 hours with the support from remote using my pc and doing AGAIN everything that I've alredy done, they said that a technician from Dell will come to my house to change some "sensors" that are not working properly.

I've told them that the PC is working fine and the fans are going up/down with the increase requst of resouces (gaming etc.) but he told me that the sensors are not working fine. I really think that this is not something with the sensors... but we'll see this soon. the technician will contact me for an appointment to come directly to my house anche change those sensors.

Hello again @Anonymous. The McAfee unistaller run successfully, but anyway i removed McAfee in april, when i bought the rig. And AWCC was working fine til December. I also tried turning off Bitdefender and Malwarebytes, but also in this case nothing changed. And again, I had these 2 antivirus programs since April, and AWCC was working fine...

Tech came and replaced ENTIRE motherboard because Dell support said “it’s a problem with the sensors”.
The tech replaced the MB and now... there is still the problem with 777 everywhere on AWCC AND the fans are now at 100% speed always, every time. So now I have 2 problems instead of 1.

The tech on dire went away because “it’s work was done” and I’m at the phone with dell support that cannot understand the problem.

Really disappointed and angry, for the price paid for this rig and the lack of support.

That's not surprising........... they don't know.

Probably best way to get out of this is the factory re-install , or re-install the awcc software again  if it was not already done.

Here is my story:

Well not too long ago, my complaints about the awcc, according the dell reps, went all the way to engineering department then, they came back with their answer... that they did not understand and they wanted a video of the problem.
