Aurora R10, Bluetooth constantly a problem, what is the workaround?

This post has been made by other users and there is no solution. Yet it is marked as solved in those posts despite the post creators clearly communicating that the issue is NOT solved.

I bought this pc new thinking I would save myself the headache of having incompatible parts.. ....sigh

The bluetooth adapter that dell installed in these machines is buggy beyond belief and I need a work around.

I've read countless testimonials on the qualcomm adapter being discontinued blah blah blah

Can I put a new bluetooth adapter in  an open pci slot and have my game controller work or will I waste my money?

Would likely help if you tell what the exact problem and adaptor is you are using.

I am currently in queue for tech support , but waiting for my product registration to go through.  The problem I'm having is that my bluetooth has stopped working on and off over the first year that I've owned my machine.

I can't identify anything that causes it. But after some internet searching I found another post in this forum that suggested I look in the usb devices and delete any "unrecognized device" and restart. This solution worked about 6 times in the past year. It stopped working a couple weeks ago.

I have installed all the recommended drivers for bios and Bluetooth and all drivers suggested by dell scan. I have started and stopped and restarted associated services.  Unfortunately I didn't take up the issue until my manufacturers warranty has expired.

Feeling defeated I decided to go purchase an asus pci slot bluetooth ax-3000 module. I installed the drivers and then put the unit in the pci slot. Blue screen of death. Windows automatic recovery wouldn't recognize my password. NOt my local password or windows password. I reset my password on the microsoft site and was connected via ethernet and yet it wouldn't work. I pulled the card and the system was back.

I took the card back and bought a usb asus bt500 version. That installed and under device manager was working. I turned off the default Bluetooth which was also supposed to be working   according to device manager. I could connect my Bluetooth controller and it would say paired, but no inputs would register in game or in windows joystick calibration. I tried multiple controllers and they all had the same result.

The controller had been working fine over the past year and was in mid game when it disconnected.
