Aurora R10, Crucial RAM upgrade - Solved

Question

Finally got my RAM upgrade job done in my Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition​ R10, purchased and received in end of 2021. In short: Crucial BL2K16G32C16U4B is the RAM brand & model if you'd like to upgrade to 32GB RAM (2 x 16GB) - 3200Mhz - CL16. After insert 2 RAMs, go into BIOS setup, select Advanced, select Performance Options, select Mem OC1 in Memory OC(XMP), then Save & Exit to reboot. If you got a single 16GB RAM coming with the R10, and wanted to buy another exactly same RAM to form 16GB x 2 dual channel. Either forget about it, or buy it from Dell. Here is my R10 specs from Dell: Alienware Aurora R10 CPU: AMD Ryzen(TM) 7 5800 (8-Core, 36MB Total Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.6GHz) Memory 16GB, 1x16GB, DDR4, 3200MHz, XMP Storage: 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) + 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage) Graphic: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 Dark Side of the Moon chassis with Low-Profile Smart Cooling CPU Heatsink and 1000W Power Supply Screenshots after upgrading RAMs (Sorry about the display language, I'm sure you guys will figure out the important info. anyway):   A bit long story: Since received the Alienware R10, I've replaced the original Air-Cooled System to Dell AIO Liquid Cooling System, replaced front, top & CPU fans to Corsair ML 120 Pro fans (I'm pretty sure everyone who owns Alienware R10 knows the reason for that And because the R10 only came with 512GB SSD + 1TB of HDD, so I replaced the 1TB HDD with Crucial MX500 2TB Sata SSD. I've also inserted the original 80mm CPU fan to where the 1TB HDD located to create more air flow. What I didn't realize was that upgrading RAMs was actually the most complicated part, and it took me too long time to check forums and resources online to confirm which brand and model will be compatible with my Alienware R10 before making the purchase. Not only to make sure my R10 will be able to boot without any problem, but also to upgrade RAM speed from default 2666Mhz C20 to 3200Mhz CL16. Anyway, hopefully this will help with anyone who wants to upgrade RAMs of their Alienware Aurora R10.

I use the same Crucial memory in my R10. Works great. I made two bios-upgrades with these sticks and it was no problem. So yes I think the Crucial memory is a good alternative to the OEM-memory which has slower timings and costs much more.

i just bought an r10 same as yours.  wanted to upgrade. ram the same same. searched all day for a exact stick of the same.  installed. and it wont see it. /shrug.

If you installed them in the correct slots and did not mix then with the existing OEM RAM, load the BIOS defaults or do a coin cell battery reset.
