I use the same Crucial memory in my R10. Works great. I made two bios-upgrades with these sticks and it was no problem. So yes I think the Crucial memory is a good alternative to the OEM-memory which has slower timings and costs much more.

i just bought an r10 same as yours. wanted to upgrade. ram the same same.
searched all day for a exact stick of the same. installed. and it wont see it.
/shrug.

If you installed them in the correct slots and did not mix then with the existing OEM RAM, load the BIOS defaults or do a coin cell battery reset.
