Aurora R10, I have some queries

Hi all, I've just received the Aurora R10 (AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core 32GB - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070).

After 1 day of use I have some queries:

1 - CPU temp is 60 degree+ without running any games, is that normal?

2 - the fans are very loud even with the 'thermal quite profile' active

3 - how do I know if the CPU is water or air cooled?

4 - front lights: I can see the ring but not the full one around the canter

how do I activate it?

I used the CPU, video card and memory from my R10 and made my own computer with other components. I would only recommend doing that if you have experience with building computers.

On my R10 I replaced the front fan with a Noctua NF-A12X25 fan, to get rid of the noise. Many aftermarket fans generate an error during start-up, but that one did not and worked fine.

The front fan is easy to replace and requires no tools since it clips into a plastic holder. The top fan is a lot harder to change.

thanks again, and can I reduce the rotation speed of the fan? Or is there any software that allows to kick in the fans only when the temp is over 60 degree? If I use the PC just to browse the internet the temp is around 45-50 and the noise in background is annoying, I tried AWCC but no luck

I think there is a minimum with AWCC. You can try open hardware monitor for Alienware edition.

The simplest and cheapest solution for point 1 and especially 2 is fans replacement. After replacing both, front and radiator fans with Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM I do not experience any BISO errors and PC is practically quiet with CPU temp dropping by almost 20°C from above 60°C to just 40-45°C and from >90°C to 75-80°C on idle and full load respectively.

You can see and hear the difference on this YT CLip. https://youtu.be/yJlaAQgsr3Q
