Aurora R10, M.2 failed Targeted and Linear Read Tests
Ran both the Targeted and Linear Read Tests both of which failed. Received error codes WSD06-C6O and WSDO2-1W9. The drive is M.2 NVME Samsung 1TB. Spoke to Dell Customer Service last night. They confirmed that the drive has failed. New part is on the way, system is under warranty. Very impressed with the customer service. How common is it for M.2 SSD's to up and fail? I've had the system since January. Was this just a stroke of bad luck?

Yes, I would chalk this up to bad luck. Usually if a drive is going to fail it will do it within the first number of months. After that, in my experience, it will run for years without a problem. I would not worry about it and I would bet the replacement will be fine for a long time.

First case I heard off. They typically work for a very long time without any issues.

Will do. Thanks for the reply. I've been out of the PC gaming loop since 07. A lot has changed.
