Aurora R10 / R11 HyperX Fury 16G 3400MHz option (Looking to buy from someone)

Hi,

Whoever upgraded their RAM in their R10/R11 and kept the single channel 16GB 3400MHz DIMM, please let me know. I would like to buy. I need XMP 2.0 Kingston DDR4-2666 2R (Part number X0N6VG-HYD2) to run in dual channel 32GB. I am from Canada, so please let me know if you are willing to sell, I am a buyer. Thank you.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking to buy or even sell mine. How can we private message each other if needs be.

Still trying to figure compatible ram that can run at 3400 without compromising my warranty. I reached out to dell multiple times and they have not been able to help. I keep getting the runaround.

I see hyperx makes ram that supports the xmp profiles at 3200 and 3466.

What dell needs to do is sell us the ram, or offer an alternative that supports the 3400 xmp profile under warranty we paid for, while reimbursing us for our lost chip expenses.

Are either of you selling? I'm in the same boat and will buy. There is a private message option here, but it doesn't appear on mobile last I checked.

Sorry to drag this back up but I just wanted to confirm that is the timing of the 3400mhz ram from Dell.

If so I am very disappointed and annoyed. With the 20CL it is actually slower than the 3200mhz standard memory.

What's worse is that my system is in the process of being built with 64gb of it which I will likely have to replace since you can't change an order after it is submitted.

The CPU-z information is correct.

I honestly don’t know anything about the timing stuff but I have a R11 in my cart and will eventually pull the plug. I got the xfury 3400mhz 64gb of it, will it be better to opt for the 3200mhz?

thanks for any advice because this seems to put me on hold for now.

With everything I have read and using calculators the 3200mhz is actually faster. There is a calculation that uses the MHz and the CL of the memory. The 3200mhz at 16cl = 10 nanoseconds the 3400mhz at 20cl is 11.76 nanoseconds. The lower number is better in this case.

My system is still waiting to be built and I am already shopping for some 3200mhz that is 14 or 15cl since I made the mistake of ordering the 3400.

If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Wow! Well thank you for explaining all that to me. So 1.76 nanoseconds makes a slight or big impact... well I guess I’ll have to do some research. I’m not sure as said but I play a game called DCS “ Digital Combat Simulator “ and now have the HP G2 VR headset so I’m not sure if that will make a big impact for me to notice. But I will definitely research it.
Thanks !

Question , so they won’t come down in price for the R11 w/ the 3090 so offering me 128gb of xfury 3200mhz with windows pro instead of the 64 gun  3400mhz. So what you take the 128gb /3200mhz?

I would try to verify that the 3200mhz is cl16 like people have posted here, if it is then I would go with that even though you will likely never need 128gb. If it's slower that 16 you might as well take the 3400mhz

If it's better, then why is it cheaper? Usually you get what you pay for. Sounds like splitting hairs. Just get the 3400 and be done with it.

I went ahead and upgraded to 32 GB memory. I have the stock 16GB Kingston 3400mhz memory stick available if anyone wants it.

Do you still have that 16GB 3400mhz for sale?
