Aurora R10, crashing on COD Warzone
Hello all. I recently purchased an Aurora R10 with Ryzen 9 5900 CPU, 32GB ram, Nvidia 308. I've had issues playing Call of Duty: Warzone from the get go.
I've tried with tech support and different online fixes, settings, etc. but there's been no solution.
The game will just freeze my display will turn off and the PC will continue to run but sometimes just restart on its own. I get no error message, blue screen or anything else. I've run stress tests on the CPU, the GPU, done hardware scans and have found no problems. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on but the problem seems to be getting worse.

Do you see any errors listed on reliability monitor?

In secco make sure OC is in the Green/Yelliw for ure cpu and cpu.
In the game settings sometimes FullscreenBorderless alleviates problems caused by FullScreen. I have exp with CyberPunk came out I had to disable RayTracinf. Arma 3 would freeze pc If not run in Borderless. necessitating restart.
I had 2x TiTan pascals 10 series too. It was just that way because of the draw distance and the size of the play area. MayB b4 ure screen crashes if u drive one of the buggies across the map u might see stuttering or stretching?
Try auto detect the recommenddd settings and Overclock in awcc

I don't have a second monitor. Dell support was able to capture a failure but the system was operating within specs and no issues were found. This has me absolutely baffled. All stress tests, performance tests, etc pass with no issues.
I've tried reverting the graphics driver back, reinstalling the game, dumbing down the graphic settings...nothing works. It is becoming more and more frequent as well. I'm lucky to even get into a match before lockup now.
The screen will flicker and tear, then freeze, go black and lock the PC up. Sometimes it will restart on its own but usually the only way I can get it to respond is by doing a hard reset.
I've reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 10, ensured everything was currently updated. I just don't know what else to do. $2700 PC and it's cause nothing but stress. I threw the box it came in away because it was so large. I just wish I could fix the problem.

Lots of hits on the very issue which point to the game, not the PC. You should read through those threads to see what other users are doing to correct the issue.

Idk, you can watch thousands of streamers live playing the same game from PC with no issues. It's either related to the Alienware PC's or it is an issue with the PC itself because thousands of streamers literally have no issues currently playing on PC.

Just curious. When you reinstalled Windows 10 did you change it from RAID to AHCI mode?

Dell uses RAID configuration by default on their installs. I think my systems run with less issues in AHCI mode. It's in the BIOS. For a clean install you can choose the mode you prefer. The forums have much discussion on the subject. Seems like I had micro-freezes with certain games when using RAID. I have the Aurora R11 and XPS 8940.
On the R11 I did have Sins of the Solar Empire crash at each game start until I disabled "Full Optimization" so it could like others have said a problem with that particular game.

Yeah...idk. for over 3k $, I just want to plug it in, download the games and play. This whole, changing system settings, changing bios, etc to get it to play games without issues is ridiculous.

Did you ever figure this out? I've had mine just over a week and had to call customer support two-times already. Like you said spend all this money and cant even play the first game you download.

Had same issue when I got my r11.
Had the graphics card replaced by dell and it is working smoothly.
Recommend getting in touch with dell tech. They will send an engineer within 2 working days usually.

Never figured it out. Sent it back to dell for refund and had a PC built for me by another company.
My only educated guess is the antiquated Alienware motherboard that cannot be upgraded and the lack of proper cooling with a horrible case design by dell. Just send it back and never look back
