Aurora R10, having trouble with new RAM

I have the Alienware R10 Aurora and got it with 3200MHz of 2x8GB HyperX RAM. I just upgraded today, using the same 2 and 4 slots, to 3200MHz of 2x16GB of Viper Steel Series DDR4 RAM. However, I can't seem to configure the XMP properly to get my computer to actually boot. When I enter BIOS, it's preset to OC2. The only other profile is OC1 which does not allow my computer to boot as it enters recovery mode. If I click manual settings, the highest I can see is 3000MHz, and the 3200 doesn't even show up. Can someone please tell me how I can get the full 3200 speed or what XMP profile I need to enable? A number of people on this forum and in the Amazon reviews have used this exact setup with success.

Try updating your R10 BIOS to ver 1.07.

For me, with BIOS 1.07, I was able to select "Custom" menu in Performance settings and manually add my DDR4 data.

I used the "DRAM Calculator for Ryzen 1.7.3" tool by 1usmus to obtain optimized DRAM information and plugged it into Custom settings.

Try using the Thaiphoon burner utility to obtain Die Density information and PCB /Raw Card info of your memory.

There is also another thread where a bunch of people discussed their learnings - I think the thread name is "R10, memory upgrade".
