This solution didn't work. A friend though suggested pressing F8 while turning the system on and it started working again.
I'm baffled that Dell whatsapp assistance advised me to basically disassemble my pc and run tests before giving me this tip, that for some may be obvious but for me it wasn't.

What driver did you install?

It was probably the bios update. I've been seeing a large number of the 2-1 errors reported after the most recent bios update recently.

Ouch, that would not be good. I don't think the R10 has a recovery option for a bad flash.

Reset CMOS. You need to unplug and remove the battery too otherwise just holding the power button down doesn't really do anything.

Thanks for the advice. I’m not at home now so I’ll do what you said later. What could I do to update the bios correctly if my pc manages to startup?

R10 does not have a bios recovery option that I am aware off.
If the bios is corrupt, you will need to contact DELL to get it resolved.
It will likely need a new motherboard if it is deemed a corrupt bios.

Clearing CMOS has been working for most people reporting this issue with the most recent update.
