The Corsair Hydro Series H60 (2018) was the go-to AIO CPU cooler to install in the Aurora series . . . however, that has been discontinued and replaced with the H60i, which has iCue lighting affects from what I can tell. You may be able to find a new H60 (2018) in stock somewhere, but not from Corsair. If you can get a new OEM Alienware R10 AIO CPU cooler, it would be of similar quality to the H60 as both are made by Asetek. This EVGA CLC 120mm AIO is also made by Asetek and would fit your rig . . . but you may need to change the loud fan out for a Noctua (if you don't appreciate noise).

1000 watt PSU is good.

After the CPU swap, I think you would just need to clear CMOS by removing the CR2032 coin cell battery and discharging flea power. I am not 100% certain about that.

Take some photos of your mods and share, if you don't mind.

the H80v2 has the same pump as the H60 but a thicker radiator = more surface to exchange heat

(and it fits into the case with the 4000 rpm fan that ships with the AW aio, im using it right now)

I have found a new Corsair Hydro Series H60 (2018) for $112.00 on Amazon.  I looked up the H60i and it's running at $149 on Amazon.  Between the price and the fact I don't need an RGB on my AIO (you can't see it anyway), I will get the H60 for sure.
Thank you for the advise.  While I am sure about how to remove the CR2032 cell battery, I don't know anything about discharging the flea power.  Is there any information or video you could point me to that would help me in learning how to do that?
I also thought about thermal paste.  I am aware of many brands, but does Dell have a recommended one?  If not, have users found there is one particular one that works best on higher powered 5000 series processors and the type of AIO I would be using?

Thanks!

Oh, and when I do the swap, I'd be glad to take photos.  Is there a particular place on this board that is best to place them?   Should it be just a new entry in this forum; or would it be more appropriate to just do a final post on this particular thread?

Thanks!

I looked this up and the price on Corsair's website was $114.00, but none were in stock.  When I looked on Amazon the price was $239.00.   I don't know what's occurred to cause such an inflation of price, but that is quite a lot of money.
Thank you though!   I wish I could find it at a lower cost!

Note that it is possible the SP Series fan that comes with the H60 (2018) may throw the diagnostic startup error on your R10. The Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM  fan has historically worked without the startup error and is very quiet. However this is always a moving target as which fans throw the error can potentially change with each BIOS update.

With power disconnect from the PSU, remove the CR2032 coin cell battery and the press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power (flea power).

The H60 (2018) will come with pre-applied thermal paste, but you should consider cleaning that off and using a better quality paste for your better quality processors. There are several good pastes available, but most importantly in choosing make sure that the paste is electrically non-conductive. Personally I like Phobya NanoGrease Extreme

Posting your mod photos in this thread works, along with any helpful tips you may have learned in the process.

Thank you!   I will keep that all in mind.  I feel pretty confident about proceeding thanks to you, and I'll be making the purchases today.  Hopefully I will get all the parts sooner than later and can start the build.
