On #1, keep in mind Nvidia's partners, MSI, ASUS, PNY, ZOTAC, etc will all be releasing their own versions of the 3000 series gpu's in short order and you shouldn't have a problem finding a 3070 blower model that fits just fine in the R11, even if Nvidias own founder's edition is too big.

Been scouring the partners' websites for their 30xx card releases. No blower in sight. Minimum for 3080 is 3-fan design.

It's coming, just not pictured yet because the demand is on the big cards.

@GTS81  From asus for example:

"We have even more GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards in the works, including a handy Turbo design that exhausts hot air directly from cases. It’s perfect for small-form-factor builds or enclosures that can use a helping hand in keeping system temperatures in check. Stay tuned."

But will the Asetek RadCard work with the new card ? Is it possible to use it on a different card other than the 2080 Super ?

Cooling solutions for graphics cards are tailored to the PCB they are based upon. So nope.

Hi @Anonymous

Assuming we're talking about the RTX 3070 (Founders Edition) ; will that still fit inside the Aurora R11 or R10 chassis?

From the current public pictures of the RTX 3070 Founders Edition, it seems it should fit and power plug also looks compatible, assuming I didn't make a mistake?

Thank you @Anonymous ; the pictures you posted helped a lot.

A question: Suppose one could make a "plastic scoop-like shroud" to re-direct the hot exhaust air towards the side cover vent holes, will that alleviate the concern?

I can visualize that the 3070 would sit directly over the side cover vent holes.

Technically yes, but it'll have to be one heck of a scoop (not sure how this changed for Legend design):

Beam of warm air hits exactly here.Beam of warm air hits exactly here.

Limitations exist only if you let them. You'll figure something out.

@GTS81 , @Anonymous  Thanks for the details and heads up on the RTX 3070 FE  upgrade. Noted the issues with the R10 chassis limitations.
