Recommend to instead use a corsair H60 (with 2 fans) or corsair h80 (with one fan).
This has been tested to work by several. I have the corsair h60 with 2x noctua nf-f12x25 fans and my cpu temps idle at 45*F and full load around 78-80*F.
You will also need the VRM heatsinks for this to work (which can be somewhat difficult to get ahold of). I got mine thru dell spare parts.
It sounds like the current air cooler is not installed correctly. try remove it, clean old thermal paste, apply new one and reinstall using proper technique before you get the new AIO liquid cooler so you can continue to play fortnite. OT you do not need modern gaming pc to play this game and you are correct the game does not demand latest cpu.
