Aurora R11, external speaker jack
hi all,
I have a R11 Alienware desktop , pretty new (November 2020).
Sounds via BlueTooth key work perfectly.
when I plug in my ""old'" Creative Pebble, the Jack seems not plugging properly, and there is huge statics noise only.
I tried them on my laptop and they work perfectly.
do I need any kind of jack converter to use them on Alienware? the jack of Creative is super standard stereo 3.5 jack
thanks

The "Pebble" speakers, that I find, have a "TRRS" plug. Most likely the jacks on the R11 are standard "TRS" jacks. If the speakers I find are the right ones, you will need an adapter to convert the TRRS plug to standard TRS.

the model is Pubble Creative 1.0, and they should have universal AUX plus USB for power.
my speakers have Trs (only 2 black bands in the jack )
do you mean I need a converter Trs to Trrs, because Alienware has TRRS only?

Also, you need to check sound is on the correct output device too. Sometimes it may default to the monitor or a dock for example.

Did you plug it into the correct colored port, center green, #8, in photo?

"my speakers have Trs (only 2 black bands in the jack ) "
Then the model you have has the correct plug, no adapter is needed.
