Aurora R11, memory speed, timings, overclocking, BIOS, AWCC
So I noticed my R11 with stock 32GB Dual Channel HyperX(FM) FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz started running at 2667MHz.
I guess it was changed by me messing with the overclock settings in AWCC for the first time. Apparently, changing these settings in AWCC switches off XMP in BIOS.
Took a bit of trial and error to get it back to 3200MHz.
Reboot - go into BIOS by pressing F2 - change XMP setting
Disabled = 2667 MHz
XMP1 = 2966 MHz
XMP2=3200 MHz - Timings 20/20/20/52
So that is a 12% latency improvement over the 2667 MHz - Timings 19/19/19/43

My R11 / 3400 xfury Ram 1 shows 2667 MHz and my Ram 2 shows 3397mhz I can’t get the 2966mhz for some reason.
Are you saying you had to disable the 2667mhz in the bios to get the 2966mhz?
thanks

You likely cannot get it because of your Infiniti fabric speed.
You will need dividers for frequencies that are below 2 x the fabric speed.
If the bios has no divider option available for the memory frequency in the XMP profile, it will not be able to run at that profile frequency.

Ok thanks. I’m good with 3400MHz runs good enough for me.
