Aurora R11, performance in gaming with RTX 2070 Super
< Moved this out of Alienware Laptops and into Alienware Desktops. Dell-Admin>
I'm getting above 80+ FPS but I wonder if I could get more if I upgrade to the i9 10th gen? Currently I have an i7-10700F. Upgrading the processor is far cheaper than upgrading to the 3xxxx series RTX cards.
Thanks in advance

The R11 supports 10th gen Intel CPUs (e.g., 10900K / 10900 / 10900KF). But depending on your config you may need to upgrade the PSU (to 1000W, add liquid cooling, and add the L shaped VRM heatsink - required for an unlocked CPU).

In order to determine if that would make a difference, and if it does how much, please use this online tool: bottleneck calculator
Pending on the resolution you use, it will likely make very little to no difference. I don't think you currently have a CPU bottleneck.

Yeah, the 10700 is still a pretty good CPU. Now's not a good time to be in the market for a GPU since they're OOS everywhere except for the scalpers.
