Can you hear the fans running and do you hear any beeps or see any blinking diagnostic lights? Was the system sent to Dell for this same problem? Also when you say blacks out, do you have a display when the system first boots but before Windows starts?  I ask because it would be impossible to install the OS with no display or input from the keyboard or mouse. And if the monitor has no display then it may be possible the keyboard and mouse are in fact working but how would you know with no display.

Yes the lights come on on the system and the fans run. The system was sent to Dell for the same issue. I have no display whatsoever when it boots up. It will randomly turn and work sometimes, but others I will turn the system on and the same issue occurs. The keyboard RGB will light up for about a second then cut off. Monitors act like they have a signal for a second then go black. Very annoying issue. I took the side panel off thinking that it may be an overheating issue? Not sure what’s going on. Try replacing the CR2032 coin cell battery. Disconnect power when working inside your rig. After you take out the battery, hold the power button in for 30 seconds to discharge flea power. Then put in the new battery. If you have not cleaned the inside of your R11, this would be a good opportunity. CPU is liquid or air cooled? Does the alien head power button flash any diagnostic codes?

How many blinks, if any, on the Alienware head? (power button)

This might sound like an odd question, but did it work fine before or did you purchase it second hand and it never worked?

Changed the CR2032 coin battery and it seems to be working okay as of right now. It is liquid cooled. No diagnostic codes that I have notice but will look out for them if the problem continues
