Aurora R11, trim question, do I need the Intel SSD Data Center?

My Aurora R11 desktop includes a Toshiba XG6 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.

Do I treat this as a typical SSD?  In other words do not defrag, but make sure trim is enabled and optimized. That said, how do I check to make sure trim is enabled?

Do I need and where do I find the correct Intel SSD Data Center download? I went to the Intel download page, but the Data Center download I found did not seem to match my drive?

THX.

"So then the system knows that if an SSD the optimization is via Trim & the hard drives the optimization will be via defrag?"

Yes

Yes, each manufacturer of SSDs (Samsung, Intel, whoever) seems to make their own software with some bells and whistles and a trim activator.  However, to keep things simple, you can just use the one built into Windows 10.

Thanks for the screen  shots.  So then the system knows that if an SSD the optimization is via Trim & the hard drives the optimization will be via defrag?

Asking as my last PC had a Samsung SSD which came with a program I think called Magician and within that program had the Trim optimization tool as well as speed tests.

Yes, it is a SSD.

See photo...This PC - Devices and Drives - OS (C) Properties - Optimize Drives - Optimize or change settings for scheduled optimization if not set.

Optimize through WindowsOptimize through Windows

You do not have to use that Intel download, especially since it should be on the Intel site...perhaps it will show up in Microsoft store downloads or Alienware updates eventually.
