Aurora only accepts cards that are 267mm in length

You can find plenty, quite literally hundreds of 3060/3070/3080 and AMD cards all at 267mm. It's a fairly common GPU length

Could you name a few for 3080 cards that does not exceed 267mm?

The ‘hybrid’ or water cooling doesn’t count. Because you can’t mount it below the gpu & you can’t mount it in front of the R11 case & R12.

thanks!

3080 sounds very challenging to find a card shorter than 11in or 280mm unless it’s OEM specs.

Or you may try RX6800XT/6900XT, the AMD reference card is exactly 269mm. I checked my 6800XT which seems to be identical to the reference card.

EVGA 3060 has no issues because its shorter card.

Only needs 1 8PIN aka 2 6 pin female to 8 pin male aka 300W card max.

You lost me at newegg.com  I wouldn't even buy a USB stick from them, let alone something valuable (even if they had it in stock or from a shuffle or whatnot).

With a little work and movement of fans i can work ....Here is what i did. i removed the front bottom fan, removed the unused hdd slot on added a new quieter fan there. Removed an un used ssd slot on bottom put the stock fan in its place for more air flow. Replaced stock cpu cooler with a h60 water cooler. and trimmed off some of the plate on the psu door just a little triangle piece to make room for the 3070 to clear. so far no problems no overheating.

What's the neon green square in front of the OEM fan and below the GPU, where the OEM fan used to be?  Is that rubber housing for a 60mm aftermarket fan?

I may have to do a little modding to slap That 240 rad in the front by removing the drive cage all together but man I want this beast

@arue21 When you placed the fan on the bottom, did you open up any air inlet from the foot into the case, or just relying on the small gaps in the black plastic foot that are there already? I just wonder if you get much airflow entering through what is pretty much a solid foot.

I did something similar, but I dremelled out the air intake both on the bottom of the metal case and in the plastic foot, to make sure air was entering.

old topic but its sad the R11 is just as small as my XPS 8930!  i was able to squeeze in the HP 3070 card with an added front case fan in there also.   why does dell limit even an r11 it seems they all share the Swing out PSU that we hate or at least i hate .  I dont have current pic but here was the EVGA 1080 in there and its a long card.
