You are thermal throttling sending you into a cpu bottleneck. I'm assuming you have an air cooler not the liquid cooler and since you don't want to open the PC I'm guessing you've never opened it to dedust it

You are guessing extremely right haha. Is there something I can do ? Can I return the PC to alienware and pay an extra to get a water cooling system installed in ? I assume this is not normal to overheat like this is it considered like a damage so I can use my warranty ? I am totally lost I saved for 3 years for this PC I can't afford to stay with something that is not working

Air cooling is your issue. I am pretty sure Dell does not offer upgrade services.

There are owners who have upgraded to liquid cooling, but unless you have experience building PC's I would not recommend attempting it.

Thanks for helping me, I would like your opinion, the air cooling issue would be my fault or Alienware's fault ? Because I don't think this is normal to have this issu, pre build pc should be made to work correctly without overheating.

I've installed a fresh new system and it is still overheating so this wasn't due to a software or windows 11

Why did you put money into 32Gb of ram, a 2TB m.2 and a 3080 and then skimp on the cooling system for the CPU though? 16Gb of ram vs 32Gb of ram for just gaming is moot no difference, I would have put that money into the liquid cooling. 11th Gen CPUs run hot and there's nothing you can do to fix it outside of switching the Cooler however Alienware will not do it for you

No standard low TDP air cooler is going to handle any kind of real gaming

Dell will consider it working normal under those temperatures, unless there's another issue.

You can try increasing the fan speeds with Alienware command center, it might improve temperatures a bit.

But the only long lasting improvement is liquid cooling. It's an option that can be selected when ordering the unit, in most cases.

I put money into that because I didnt want any probmem with my computer. I tought if I take a beast I will not have to deal with that kind of ... anymore. I didnt choose liquid cooler because when a company is selling an option, here is air cooling, they are supposed to make sure that this is working and not damaging the computer or the user experience.

You would think a brand new computer would not consistently have these issues, but they do.  When an individual buys a new computer they have to do their homework. 

Overheating, dual ram vs single ram, checking out Dell's forums for repeatable problems with item, etc.  That's one reason I did not buy the R12 and stayed away from the i9 in Dell's builds because they skimped on cooling solutions.  Same goes for XPS desktops.  I wish you the best.

That's the thing, it works and it does its job. It's an bare minimum air cooler it's the exact cheap air cooler Intel ships with its chips, it's meant for nothing more Than every day use and light load's. The liquid cooling option is the option provided for people who want to do heavy loads like long or intense gaming. 

Always do your homework when buying PCs , too expensive to just hope for the best

It doesnt work and it doesnt do its "job" because I have an average of 94° celcius, the PC is doing nothing, CPU have a 2% usage and it is a 78° celcius on desktop
