Starters Don't even use AWCC (Alienware Command Center) it's poor. I only use it for visual and system fan controls I set mine to Performance Temp.
Use MSI for your video card.
Use the Bios setting to Overclock. I set mine to profile 2 not sure what your i7 has so test there. Our chips are HOT 125w so we dont have much to OC without a better watercooler sadly. You can play with your OC there. Also a small tip is when the system restarts after making a OC change if the screen is blank and seems it wont start just his CRT+ALT+DEL and it will restart and boot into windows.
Also ALWAYS make sure XMP is set and Resizable Bar enabled.
I've done that, but you will get better setting at the Profile 2 it's a 4.9GHZ hard set. Your cinabench scores will be higher etc. If you do that custom 50/5.0ghz it will drop to 4.6ghz underload. Just a FYI and many many hours of testing.

Custom OC in the bios, set it to 50 for 5.0ghz. I run a 50 voltage offset on adaptive and obviously my power limits are set at 0
