Aurora R12, three questions

Hello all,

I have three questions about the Alienware Aurora R12.

1. When I choose for the graphic card Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, can I connect three widescreen monitors on one card?

2. Can I install two graphics cards into the Aurora R12 ?

3. Momentally I have a big problem with my Alienware Area-51 R2 (2015). The machine don’t show my BIOS information anymore on the screen. I have have tried averything like CMOS reset and a new battery. So I read a lot of the same problem with the Aurora R12. Is this now general for Alienware, these “no showing BIOS information on screens” without starting anymore?

1. yes triple monitor support is available.  1 x HDMI port + 3 x Display Port v1.4a (make sure your monitors support Display Port)

2. Not recommended.  SLI isn't supported on RTX cards either AFAIK and the space is limited.  Also running a 2nd video card will increase the heat in the case..

3. have you tried booting with a USB keyboard, and pressing the F2 key?  This is the only way i can get into the Bios on my R12.  Using a wireless keyboard does not work FYI

3. Unfortunately total no BIOS on screen, all lights are on, but no BIOS messages.
