Aurora R13, AWCC fusion CPU/RAM missing
Laptops and into Alienware Desktops. DELL-Admin>
It is not a good resolution since if you want to use Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) you need to install the "virtual machine platform". Since I installed WSL for Windows, Memory and CPU are missing from the AWCC tool. That is NOT a normal situation. I cannot resolve myself not to have these options just because I installed a Windows embedded feature. For information, it's on an Alienware Aurora R13

Hi,
I succeeded to reinstall the Desktops 5.5.0.0 version!
When I launch the main install program I see the Alien logo and then the install program is stuck.
I went then to my temp folder (Right click Start button then Run and type %TEMP% then click OK). I found a temporary folder with a name like this {72B26E10-DB0C-48AB-A3B9-853234D7C7DB}
Into this folder I found a subfolder named Update and into this subfolder a program named IMSilentUpdate
I launched this program and after a while the AWCC program was installed OK. After that, I installed the OC-Controls-Application and then the Fusion Service. I just needed to wait some time at first launch because it had to enable some services.

This solution is OK for reinstalling the AWCC but it does not patch what I call a bug in AWCC : CPU and Memory not showing into AWCC when Virtual machine Platform is installed.
