It is already confirmed by Dell. The new rig will be much bigger than R10/R12 and there is optional side glass. For me, R10 is already too big in size, so if you are okay with a even larger dimension, you can wait for the new design.
It's big because Dell/Alienware wanted to make you think it's actually a large computer. The fact is, it's rather small inside. It's surrounded by large chunks of plastic panels on all sides.
November 9th seems too optimistic. The R13 looks like they will be introduced with Alder Lake and as of yet, they have not been released and IIRC, there usually is a lag between the CPU release and the Aurora release.
The more I look at those pics the more I like the look of the R13. I’m concerned though about the possible proprietary PSU and thermals.
Probably the same loud high rpm fans though. Would be nice for fan upgrades when customizing a new machine. It looks great but bet it gonna be as loud as my R9 & R11. The case air flow looks a lot better.

There's no launch date available for the next Alienware desktop machine.

The Aurora R13 is not in the internal training pages nor on the drivers site. All I see are 3rd party links dicussing it. They state November 9, 2021.

It is a full tower case. Everything looks small in a full tower. The purpose of the panels are to reduce overall noise. Less noise is a good thing.

Uh those don't even have a rumored release date until a year from now
